Membership at SBC is reserved for those who have made a public profession of Christ, living a Christian life and willing to selflessly serve in the mission of Christ.

The Bible refers to the church as “members of one body.” At SBC, we live this out through a formal commitment to church membership.
We want every member of SBC to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The family of God is one body that spans every generation, ethnic background and life experience. We want to help you on your journey to live out God’s plan for you!
The first step to becoming a member of Steubenville Baptist Church is to attend a Next Steps Class. This is a great way to learn about our vision, values, beliefs and our staff. It is also your opportunity to ask questions about the church and find out what our Core Values are. Classes are held several times a year and are required for all prospective members.
