Pastor Dustin Thompson resides in Monticello, along with his wife Ashley, and two children, Olivia and Tucker. 

Dustin has served in several ministries at SBC and other churches, including Youth Pastor, Youth Director, Pastor of Sending and Equipping, Deacon, and Worship Team Leader. Dustin became the full time Family Life Youth Pastor at SBC in November 2024. 

Dustin and Ashley are truly passionate about their work with the teenagers and children of Wayne County and surrounding areas. They have a personal mission to see that every young person not only hears the Gospel, but receives the love and compassion of Jesus, through the church.

​Dustin is currently a student at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and is pursuing a Bachelor of Pastoral Ministry degree.
